The information is about each of the plants in our collection and also the many others that we grow. Details given are based on the best information we have available. We have used naming with reference to 'Hardy Geraniums' by Dr. Peter Yeo, the 'Geranium Family Species Check List edition iv Part 2 Geranium with amendments' and 'The Geranium Register of Cultivar Names', both published by the Geraniaceae Group.
Our off line data base holds
far more information including the
provenence of most of the wild collected
plants. Primary
hybrids
also have their provenence listed. We use our best endeavours to
ensure
that the plants we have in the collection are true to name.
Primary hybrids are
not propagated from seed but from material
whose provenence we have recorded. The same applies to the cultivars.
It is our intention
to eventually have available on-line most of the
information
from our off-line data
base and at least one image for each plant together with an image of the foliage.
